The Knowledge School Network will host a maths-based competition, Matholetics, as part of their greater competition, the Academics Fest, on 18th September, 2021. Held in schools countrywide, this facet of the Academics Fest will help students improve mathematical skills, instill confidence for the application of the learnt skills, broaden their critical and logical thinking skills, while also serving to enable them to practice visualization skills to support visual-spatial and verbal working memory practice mathematical skills to reduce strain on working-memory capacity and to help them approach out-of-the-box problem solving.
The Matholetics competition will be held at two levels, Class 5 and Class 7. Winners of the school-based competition will go on to compete against students from other TKS schools across the country.
