TKS has always set high expectations and promoted academic excellence in all possible ways. TKS believes in developing competencies such as collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving that help students prosper in today's world.
To become global citizens and meet the International Standards of Education, TKS joined an international forum iEARN and initiated collaborative Life and Learning project entitled “Cultural Package Exchange Program”. TKS IMT campus, Okara completed this project successfully with Chiayi Municipal Gang Ping Elementary School, Taiwan under thesupervision of Head OfficeTeam: Country Director- Brig. ShahidAkramKardar, Ms. Aasma Amir,and Ms. Naureen Nazir. The purpose of piloting this project was to enable students to advance their level of instruction and to give them an opportunity to broaden their outlook view, by learning to respect other cultures and religions. Four major pre-designed sessions were executedonline via Skype. To represent the colorful image of their culture, both partner students worked really hard and gave effective presentations on the major aspects of culture. Topics included were:
- Pakistan and its Four Major Cultures
- Pakistan’s Cultural Crafts
- Festivals in Taiwan
- Muslim’s Holy Month – Ramadan Kareem.
- Taiwanese Special Food Items
- Eid Festivals
- Taiwanese Art
