This year, April 3rd marks the beginnning of the holy month of Ramadan. The month serves as a reminder to the Muslim brotherhood of the conditions that the less fortunate undergo on a daily basis, resulting in enhanced empathy for their circumstances and spreading a feeling of unity amongst the population that ignores class and social divides. TKS students avidly observe fasts during this month and conduct activities amongst their local communities to assist the poor and destitute.
