23rd March is a day that is remembered and celebrated every year to commemorate the adoption of Pakistan Resolution by the All India Muslim League in March 1940 at Lahore’s Minto Park which was presented by A. K. Fazlul Haq. This was the day when the Muslims of sub-continent declared their commitment to achieve an independent state of their own. Mohammad Ali Jinnah envisioned Pakistan as a sovereign and free country where people would live in harmony and peace, free from discrimination, exploitation, corruption and prejudices of any kind under a social welfare democratic republic system ensuring justice, equality and prosperity for all citizens.
“Pakistan not only means freedom and independence but the Muslim Ideology which has to be preserved, which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which, we hope other will share with us,” a message of Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the Day.
TKS pays tribute to the heroes of the Pakistan Movement whose sacrifices and sheer dedication turned Pakistan into reality. Students of TKS will be performing different activities i.e Speech Competition, National songs performance, Quiz etc.
To inspire and encourage patriotism in the youth and next generation of Pakistan, The Knowledge School Network (TKS) has joined hands with Sitara-o-Hilal Foundation (SHF). SHF aims to inspire and promote patriotism in the youth and Next Generation of Pakistan. This network aspires to bring change for the welfare and prosperity of Pakistan by bringing together vibrant youth under Sitara-o-Hilal Parcham.
