April 22, is officially celebrated as ‘Earth Day’ around the globe. The theme for Earth Day 2020 is climate action. Climate change is the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable.
Where coronavirus pandemic has forced the entire world in to quarantine, this virus has proven to be extremely eco-friendly as it has managed to slow down the frantic peace of humanity. Without people on streets or factories working, the pollution level has dropped and the ozone layer has started healing. This has shown that if human activities are being controlled we can save our planet. On this day, let’s make a pact that we will work together and take measures to control environmental pollution and global warming.
